Shirley Brennan – Dundee Shiatsu – Massage Health and Wellbeing
I work with a wide range of physical, mental/emotional and spiritual conditions, including anxiety, depression, early trauma, sexual abuse, stress, sleep disturbance, low motivation, life purpose, creative blocks and physical stresses such as head, neck and shoulder pain, respiratory and digestive problems to name a few.
My work is supported by my mindfulness practice, my Qi Gong practice and my present counselling training. I have a creative and compassionate approach with a great love of working with dreams, creativity and resolving early childhood trauma that has become deeply ingrained and hard to reach with talk therapies alone. I have a deep love of nature and like to facilitate the innate natural healing forces that can become blocked by societal, environmental and childhood experiences. Shiatsu is a fantastic medium through which our healing potential can be activated to bring us back to wholeness and balance. It is deeply relaxing, supportive and transformative, using finger pressure and gentle stretches and rotations to access the body’s healing energy and release blockages in the flow of Chi. Being non-invasive means the client remains fully clothed through the treatment, with the treatment lasting approximately 1 hr.
Finally I am a down to earth practitioner who brings humour, gentleness and positivity to our work together and see the client as the expert in his or her journey towards optimum health and well-being. Ultimately my aim is to empower others by accessing their inner resources and helping to create a personal toolkit for life.

Anne Murray – Reiki Healing and Meditation
I was brought up and have lived in the Montrose area all my life. On leaving school at eighteen, I moved to Dundee and studied nursing at Ninewells Hospital and qualified as a Registered General Nurse. Throughout my working life I have had several jobs apart from nursing, mainly involved in the care of elderly people. I worked in a local day care centre and also cared for and supported the elderly in their own homes – all jobs I have found very rewarding.
I love animals and volunteer at a local Cat Protection Centre. I enjoy walking and spending time in the countryside. I also enjoy taking time to meditate and like to promote the benefits of meditation and living mindfully. I run a weekly guided meditation class in Hillside Village Hall.
I discovered Reiki in 2000 when my 4 year old son was ill. After many tests and medication, we could not get to the cause of the problem. Overhearing a conversation at a friends house, I heard about Reiki for the first time. After asking a few questions, i decided we had nothing to lose by giving it a try – and the rest, as they say, is history!
And so, my journey and learning about Reiki began and I completed my Reiki Master course in 2006. I practice Reiki from my treatment room at Ferryden and I also teach Reiki Level 1 & 2.
Anne teaches Reiki Level One and Two at the Hub and will be offering meditation classes.

Heloise Delautre – Heloise’s PiYo Classes
I have recently fully qualified as a PiYo instructor however I started attending PiYo classes around 2 years ago. At that time I was really un-fit and I wanted to lead a more healthy lifestyle. I always set myself unobtainable goals that weren’t fun to achieve therefore I never stuck to them and I never changed my lifestyle. I went to my first PiYo class and I thoroughly enjoyed myself which enabled me to keep pushing myself and motivated me to join other classes too. Ever since then, I’ve not only noticed physical benefits but mental benefits too. I feel less stressed out and I am a lot more chilled out than before and I truly believe this wouldn’t have happened if working out wasn’t a part of my daily routine.
My career aim is to become a PE teacher and I don’t think this would’ve been possible if I hadn’t started going to PiYo. I understand that working out is a choice and that’s why I try to create a positive atmosphere in my classes for all fitness levels. My aim is for people to achieve their fitness goals and for that it is necessary they enjoy themselves. PiYo is such a different style of exercise and even if you don’t like the gym, you may find yourself loving PiYo due to the fun nature of the class which is massively important when making positive lifestyle changes. I am passionate about the physical, mental and social benefits of PiYo and think everyone could benefit from a bit of PiYo too.

Lisa-Marie James – Unearthing Alignment
My name is Lisa-Marie and I have spent the last 8 years building my Holistic business Holistic Cascades, now known as Unearthing Alignment. This journey started after I joined NYR Organic as an independent consultant which is the direct selling arm of Neal’s Yard Remedies.
I decided to build a large community of holistic practitioners through sharing quality ethical products that I am passionate about. Offering monthly team support and running corporate events I then became a Frontline Leader with the company. I went on to train as a massage therapist to give my customers a treatment experience of the Neal’s Yard Remedies products.
This proved a great way in helping people to make any lifestyle changes and to combat things they were struggling with. I am passionate about helping others face and work through any challenges that they may be experiencing in their everyday lives.
I trained over 3 years in Reiki and Crystal Healing and have been teaching courses for the last 5 years. Since travelling around Australia on a working holiday visa in 2007 I had been inspired by bush flower essences and the power of nature for healing.
I run regular meditation groups, love sound therapy and am particularly interested in aboriginal instruments and crystal singing bowls. I have been offering monthly spaces such as reiki shares, mindful walks, create your own product evenings, creative events and vision board workshops. I also give readings to offer guidance to others, am very passionate about working with the senses through essential oils and love holding dedicated space for others to grow.
I found my calling from a young age was to help people. My true purpose in life was discovered 14 years ago when my mother passed away suddenly, I knew from that moment there was more to life and that I was going to commit to learning and experiencing life as much as I possibly could.
Since this experience I fully committed to doing my own research and experiencing an intuitive led life on this earth plane. The second awakening came when my father passed away, grief was able to offer me skills and strength I never knew I had, I discovered so much about myself and it provided me with life-long gifts and talents of turning pain into power and I remain grateful for that.
I will be running Crystal Healing Level One Courses from the Body Mind Soul Hub.

Eileen Jackson – Eileen’s Yoga and Wellbeing
I am delighted to be part of the Body Mind and Soul Hub.
My passion and energy is to share what I know and fully believe in through my teaching, knowledge and personal experiences. Bringing an awakening , support and positive energy to Mind, Body & Soul through yoga and complementary therapies. Supporting us, holding us up and guiding us through the complexities of life. Having practiced yoga from my mid twenties, my teaching journey commenced in October 2013 following 200 hours teacher training with Zenways. My learning journey has continued through much training and development with Shiva Rea. I am also a Qualified Reiki Master and advanced reflexologist.
Yoga in so many ways has been a life saver a constant, consistent support in my life through good and bad. I awakened to the importance of living life in the present moment, enjoying each and every breathing second being grateful for each and every day. The day I decided to live my dreams and not just dream them my life changed. No matter how small or large If I can share something that makes an improvement to someone’s health and well-being and life then that is what I am all about.
Life is a maze of challenges, stress, anxiety, tension and lots more. So many things can restrict us ,however, only if we let it become this. Indeed Life is a gift, each and everyday a blessing to breathe and be alive, a life to be cherished & lived which is full of opportunities and endless possibilities.
The work I do promotes a great sense of freedom supporting everyone to fly as freely as possible with openness , lightness and space. Feeling that awakening and connection within that has such freedom and grace. Living the life you love and loving the life you live.
Come and flow with me I very much look forward to meeting you!

I grew up in the highlands moving to Angus in 1994 to work for Guide Dogs for the Blind. After 9 years working with these amazing animals, I left to focus on bringing up my 3 children.
I have always been interested in holistic health and complementary therapies. Over recent years the need for a comprehensive approach to health and wellbeing has been brought sharply into focus as myself, family and friends have dealt with health challenges.
Reflexology is my favourite complementary therapy (although there are many others I love). In 2017 I made the decision to study for my Diploma in Clinical Reflexology and have never looked back. It is truly amazing to be able to share the benefits of this wonderful therapy.

Paula Kenneth MSc MBACP – Authentic Counselling
Welcome to Authentic Counselling. I am a Pluralistic Counsellor based in Carnoustie, Angus. As a Pluralistic Counsellor I hold the view that different things work for different people at different points in their life and that no client’s experience is the same. I utilise methods and techniques from a number of different modalities in order to best meet the counselling needs/preferences of the clients whom engage with my service.
I completed my Masters in Counselling in 2016. I have 5 years experience in generic counselling working with clients affected by issues related to anxiety, depression, self-harm/suicide ideation, anger, relationships, abuse, gender, sexuality, BPD, bipolar, Asperger’s, ADHD etc. I have 3 years specialist training in domestic abuse and trauma recently co-facilitating the NHS Survive and Thrive Course. I work
with both individuals and couples.
I recently completed the Children’s Matters Course which equipped me with the skills to work with children from the age of 4 utilising creative techniques and attachment theory.
Authenticity is a key part of how I work. I feel that by being myself I encourage clients to be themselves. I aim to create the type of space where someone can be his or her authentic self, at least for a hour. Hopefully they will struggle a little less with showing others that version of themselves outside of the therapy room.

Gillian retrained as a Nutritional Therapist with the College of Naturopathic Medicine and four years later, Gillian founded The Little Nutrition Co. offering nutrition education and advice in the form of talks, workshops and one-to-one consultations.
